The Angler R3 grant program provides funding for programs or projects that help grow the number of anglers in Wisconsin. This is a reimbursement grant that may award up to 75% share of total eligible project costs, up to $15,000. Grant cycle is for two years; only expenses occurred after a signed grant agreement can be reimbursed.
Applications are due February 15 each year.

The Hunter R3 grant program is a cost-sharing grant for local clubs, organizations, communities, governments, Wisconsin tribes, colleges, universities and technical schools to ensure the education, training and development of safe and ethical hunters and mentors with a preference towards applicants focusing on adults, females and families. This grant program is administered as a reimbursement program; all costs associated with the project must be incurred before seeking reimbursement from DNR. 
Applications are due September 15 of odd-numbered years.

The Shooting Range grant program is a cost-sharing grant for county or local government units, clubs, organizations, businesses, corporations and educational institutions for outdoor shooting range construction projects. This grant program is administered as a reimbursement program; all costs associated with the project must be incurred before seeking reimbursement from DNR. 
Applications are due September 15 annually.

Funding is for nonprofit organizations that promote the safe and wise use of ATVs and/or UTVs, riding and education. 
Applications are solicited bi-annually. Check the website for more details.

The Ready, Set, Go! Grant Program assists destinations in securing competitive sporting events that require an upfront cash or financial commitment.
Applications are due January 1, April 1 and September 1 annually.

Funds may support a wide range of bicycling-related projects such pop-up events, education camp​aigns or events, accessibility audits, street safety improvements, and more.
Applications are due February 1, 2024.
