The Process

Prepared in collaboration with Wisconsin’s outdoor industry, this plan puts feedback into a framework for action. Input was gathered from partners during seven listening sessions held across the state and virtually, a stakeholder survey and interviews with peer agencies. The process provided valuable insights into the challenges, needs and aspirations of partners, including outdoor businesses, guides, manufacturers, local and tribal governments, community leaders, nonprofits, clubs and destination marketing organizations.

With a big-picture vision, this industry-informed plan serves as a map to advance our mission.
